A dental implant is a modern solution for permanently and aesthetically replacing a missing tooth. It consists of an artificial tooth root, usually made of high-quality titanium, which is inserted directly into the jawbone. After a short healing period, a custom-made dental crown is attached to it – for a result that is visually and functionally almost indistinguishable from a natural tooth.
